Apple Safari 3 (Public Beta)
So, I was searching my Google News today and seen an item come up about a new Web Browser called Apple Safari for OS/X… and imagine my surprise that Steve Jobs also made a Windoze Version.
So, of course I had to download it here and check it out (and apparently so have 1,000,000 other users in the past two days). Yes, I am a Mozilla Firefox Junkie.. always have been… but I must say I like what I see here so far. Makes my Win box look like a Mac now almost (see below).
Oh yeah, I nuked Ubuntu Linux off my box yesterday for a few reasons. 1) I forgot my damn ‘root’ login, 2) I needed to upgrade to the latest versions, and 3) I needed 14 GB of more disk space to save MP3’s to.
Sigh, my next geek toy just has to be to invest in a Terabyte drive like Brad Grier did! Oh yeah, speaking of Cool Stuff check out his blog entry here about some new software called Photosynth. Indeed, the Internet is changing… day by day.
Heh, yeah, I’m playing with the TB drive. It’s a bit slow right now, I’m needing to tweak it a bit.
…and yeah, PhotoSynth did kill off my morning. Very cool!
